Learn to Swim

Our learn to swim program will feature the Seton Hall University varsity swim team and staff, teaching children the basics in water instruction and safety. The ability levels vary from beginner to intermediate to pre-competitive athletes (ages 4-13)

*IN ORDER TO KEEP A LOW INSTRUCTOR TO SWIMMER RATIO THERE WILL BE NO MORE THAN 30 SWIMMERS IN THIS SESSION*

Hall Clinic

The goal of our Stroke Clinic is to provide swimmers who are interested in learning more about competitive swimming with the opportunity to swim in a year round pro- gram without requiring the intense commitment that is usually required. We will focus on refining stroke technique while simultaneously building endurance. While we expect some competitive swimming experience, this program is de- signed for children of various ability levels, aged between 7 and 18. The Seton Hall University Swim Team and its staff will run the clinic.

Swim Camp

The Hall Swim Camp is designed to provide the finest coaching and instruction the East Coast has to offer. Each individual will be exposed to every aspect of competitive swim- ming, ranging from basic fundamentals and techniques through elite level training, nutrition and dry-land strength training. Each day will consist of a video/ classroom instruction, 2 in-water conditioning sessions and time trial race sessions.

Day Camp: In order to assure a low "coach-to-swimmer" ratio, the swim camp will be limited to 40 swimmers per ses- sion on a first-come-first-serve basis. All sessions will begin at 9:30am and conclude at 3:45pm. The Friday session will conclude at 12:00pm with a camp swim meet for all campers.

Mini-camp: We are expanding our day camp for another week this year. The Mini-Camp will run for 4 days from 9:30am- 12:30pm. There will again be a strong emphasis on stroke mechanics and technique. The mini-camp is a great way for swimmers to improve their stoke me- chanics and stay in shape throughout the summer .

Private Lessons

This program will be offered during the week (M-F) based on availability. Both private and group lessons will be offered. A minimum of 4 lessons are required to register each child. The goal is for each child to see and feel improvement in self-esteem and confidence while improving their fitness level.
